“Mad Hatter Radio” Partners With “Magic Our Way”

In an example of U.S. Gulf Coast unity, Mad Hatter Radio has partnered with New Orleans-based Magic Our Way to provide their listeners with unique takes on Disney music.

Mad Hatter Radio is now the featured provider of Disney audio of all types to listeners and fans of the Magic Our Way podcast, or “MOWicans” as they call themselves.

The new radio station will be available to members of the MOWican Nation at the Magic Our Way website in its own embedded player on the right side of the main page.

“The Magic Our Way podcast, of Magic Our Way LLC, is excited to be partnering with Mad Hatter Radio in bringing you a fresh alternative to the world of online Disney-fan radio,” said Kevin Estoque, co-host of the ‘Magic Our Way’ podcast. “Magic Our Way always encourages their listeners to be creative in their daily lives. Mad Hatter Radio plays not only your favorite Disney songs and Disney theme park melodies/spiels/ride audio, but you will also find creative versions of some of those beloved tunes as well. Magic Our Way and Mad Hatter Radio brings CREATIVITY, the crux of the Disney universe, to the forefront of your lives.”

While it is a Disney-themed Internet radio station, Mad Hatter Radio separates itself from the pack by providing different and sometimes unique takes on Disney music.

For example, you might hear the traditional arrangement of “When You Wish Upon A Star” performed by Jiminy Cricket. But you could also hear different renditions by a variety of artists such as Dave Brubeck, Jenny Oaks Baker, Billy Joel, ‘NSync, or even Louis Armstrong.

Listeners will also be able to hear the traditional park attraction audio as well as binaural audio experiences of WDW attraction.

“My happiest memories have always been inside the gates of WDW. It’s my hope that Mad Hatter Radio will bring some of that same joy to members of the MOWican Nation through this partnership,” said Jane Collins, owner of Mad Hatter Radio.

The WDW Pensieve Helps Out The DIStracted Life Podcast

This week, the owner and host of The DIStracted Life Podcast, Kim Slusher, needed to care of her son so she used a phone-a-friend to help her out with her latest podcast episode.

Being a part of the Disney podcast community means watching out for and helping each other spread the Disney magic, so The WDW Pensieve shared some of our park audio with her and her podcast’s listeners.  Kim also has a listener question and her weekly DIStractions segments in addition to the binaural audio we supplied to her.

Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios To Close April 2

As many of you know, the historic expansion at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will bring new, spectacular experiences to the park, including entire lands inspired by the blockbuster Star Wars and Toy Story films.

Recently, the Disney Parks Blog shared that the park’s Star Wars-themed land will transport guests to a never-before-seen planet with new experiences that’ll include a customized secret mission on the Millennium Falcon and an epic Star Wars adventure that puts everyone in the middle of a climactic battle.

And in Toy Story Land, Andy’s backyard will come to life and the famous little green aliens from the movie will take you for a spin in their very own flying saucers. A family-friendly roller coaster will also have you riding on the back of Slinky Dog.

In order to bring the new lands to life, the first steps of the expansion will be happening soon. This morning, the Disney Parks Blog posted an article to let everyone know that Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show and nearby locations around Streets of America will be closing on April 2, 2016. The Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show attraction will continue its daily shows until the closing date.

While the new areas of the park come to life, Disney will continue bringing new things to Disney’s Hollywood Studios such as the recent opening of Star Wars Launch Bay, the nighttime spectacular “Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular” and Sunset Showcase.
